Professional ballchasers Are Your BESL Pro Season 3 Champions

BESL Pro Season 3 has come to an end!

On the 2nd of June, the culmination of the €2,000 competition saw the four best teams from the Baltic state making their way to Riga, Latvia in order to fight their final battles on the HyperTown RIX 2019 esports stage.

BESL Pro Season 3 Rocket League finals started on Sunday afternoon with the first semi-final match between We Aight and Spectre set to commence on the big stage. Spectre, which were considered as underdogs in this match, started first game aggressively as Krisic scored the first goal of the LAN finals. Eventually Spectre took a 1-0 lead in the series after they won their first game with the score of 2-1. Starting from second game it all went downhill for Spectre. We Aight started to show their A game by doing high caliber passing plays and unsaveable shots. Game after game, win after win, We Aight simply dominated for the rest of the series, winning 4 games in a row with the scores of 4-2; 3-0; 3-2 and 4-0 thus advancing to the grand finals after beating Spectre with a scoreline of 4-1 in the series.

Second semi-final match between The Backflip Boys vs Professional ballchasers was probably the most exciting match out of all that were played in BESL Pro Season 3. First game went to overtime with 1-1 on the scoreboard. This overtime lasted almost for as long as another full game of rocket league. Both teams battled their way for the win but at the end it was Professional ballchasers who prevailed. Second game also went to overtime but it didn’t last that long and tables turned around with The Backflip Boys taking a so needed W thus tying the series 1-1. The battle between both teams was fierce and as close as anyone can imagine. With 3 wins a piece, everything went down in the very last game of this best-of-7 series. Series ended with the PBC’s victory as they won game 7 with a score of 2-0 thus winning the series with a scoreline of 4-3.

In the grand final, the two grands Professional ballchasers and We Aight met each other once again after fighting for that 1st place in the standings during the last week of the Regular season. Reminder - We Aight won that match 3-1 in the series. This time around they fought for the 1st place in the final bracket. Many people strongly believed that the outcome of this series would be the same. All games were really close, all of them ended with no more than 2 goal difference. It took 6 games to determine the winner and it was Professional ballchasers who came on top with a score of 4-2 in the series after whynOtparty scored an astonishing goal in the overtime of the game 6 and named his team the BESL Pro Season 3 champions!
